BLASTING
Chemical Stripping
Cleaning
This method is only used in extreme circumstances, such as: if your house was painted before and/or if there is hidden log rot. There are three different blasting methods we use: corn-cob, ice and glass blasting.

Chemical stripping is used to remove inferior or deteriorating finishes. In order to apply superior and longer lasting finishes. Chemical stripping is not as abrasive compared to blasting.

Keeping the logs clean will help prevent many problems throughout the life of your home. A thorough cleaning should be on your schedule every year. Even logs that have weathered to a gray color can be restored to that fresh-cut look with a good cleaning.
